Spring arrives early in the desert. Especially when you consider that the last frost is the first week in March. In light of this, I planted my seedlings on Valentine's Day with the hope that in a few short months I'll have my own vegetables and herbs for the dinner table. The crop this year includes:
Purple Basil
Sweet Basil
Roma Tomatoes
Big Boy Tomatoes
Rosemary
Italian Parsley
Sweet Peppers
Maybe by July I'll be able to enjoy a nice tomato and goat cheese sandwich with goat cheese from fresh milk from my own goats and tomatoes from my garden ;)
